Our Story: Over 50 Years of Driving Ireland Forward
Frank Keane Holdings is one of Ireland’s most established and respected names in the motor industry. A proudly Irish, family-founded business, we have been serving customers since 1967 and have grown into one of Ireland’s largest automotive groups, with operations across both retail and distribution.
The Group’s journey began as the Irish distributor for BMW, later expanding to include Mitsubishi and developing strong foundations in the commercial vehicle sector. In the early 2000s, we transitioned from importer to premium retail partner, establishing flagship dealerships across Dublin and setting new standards for customer experience.
Today, we represent a portfolio of 14 leading global automotive brands and are a trusted partner for manufacturers including MG Motor, FUSO, Farizon, and Mitsubishi Aftersales in our role as national distributor. On the retail side, we operate flagship dealerships for BMW, MINI, MG and Volkswagen, supported by over 400 dedicated employees across 10 locations nationwide.
Our continued growth has been shaped by key milestones including the launch of Frank Keane MG in 2021, the acquisition of Doran Motors in 2022, and the addition of the Conlans BMW and MINI dealerships in Naas and Limerick in 2025. These moves have further strengthened our national footprint and brand portfolio.
